I was raised in Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania, which had a population of approximately 8,000 when I was growing up. I am the youngest of five children. My Father was a family physician who made house calls and who was sometimes paid for his services with some of the best food I have ever eaten like farm fresh eggs, homemade soup and homemade spaghetti. I recall going to event with my Father when I was a child, and his patients frequently stopped him to discuss their medical ailments. He always listened, which is a trait I deeply admire. I am fortunate to have had my Father’s influence and often use his example in dealing with my clients. I have also carried the small town mentality to the city of Charlotte.
I am blessed with three children who keep me very busy with their athletic and school activities. Our household also includes eight animals, including five prior stray animals. My husband is retired from law enforcement but still works in security, and we have mastered the juggling act of our children, pets and work pretty well. I enjoy running and all athletic events, especially when they include the Villanova Wildcats and the Pittsburgh Steelers.
